Ex McCann Health executives partner to solve the biggest problem for Healthcare brands

Delhi, 16th August, 2019–  Ex-McCann Health executives, Daleep Manhas and Kamya Elawadhi today announce joining a new venture, Doceree striving to transform Healthcare Professional marketing globally.

While the digital marketing for consumer brands has progressed by leaps and bounds and has become hyper personalized and now commands 35-50% of their overall marketing budgets, it hasn’t changed much for pharmaceutical brands who invest only 2-5% of their marketing budgets on digital. Now when the effectiveness of sales force is declining globally, the industry desperately needs another marketing medium which works, and which they can depend on. Doceree is attempting to solve this problem not just for India, but globally.

This move is the one of the firsts, considering the limited talent in Healthcare advertising after a series of Advertising executives in Creatives and strategy moving out and joining start-ups.

Before coming on board as the Chief Operations Officer at Doceree, Daleep held the position of Senior Vice President & Country Head at McCann Health India, with over 15 years of experience in leadership roles at Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare communications agencies. “Pharmaceuticals are one of biggest spenders on marketing globally, however the evolution of marketing practices in pharma has been painfully slow. As one of the highest regulated industry, the existing ‘one size fit all’ solutions for digital marketing are not effective for HCP marketing and needs fresh thinking”, said Daleep.

Currently taking on the role of VP – Operations at Doceree, Kamya worked with McCann Health for over 5 years, before she moved out about a year ago. She was part of the team who brought home the coveted Cannes Lions Grand Prix for Good for Immunity Charm, and India’s first Black Pencil at D&AD and First ever Best of Discipline award in Healthcare at One Show. “ I am so excited to be working for doceree in building an industry first solution, which not just impacts marketing but impacts all of us as consumers – consumers of Healthcare and that’s what brought me to Healthcare advertising over a decade ago”, shared Kamya
