Industry List

AI in pharma is no longer a demo.
It's a decision.

Molecules are being designed by models. Trials are being run on synthetic cohorts. HCP engagement is being rewritten in real time. Market access is being forecast before the first payer conversation. None of this is coming — it's here, in production, at scale.

And yet the people driving it remain largely invisible. Their work lives inside decks, inside firewalls, inside the one brand team that shipped it. The industry has no shared list of who's actually doing this — no benchmark, no canon, no annual moment.

AI Health 25 is that moment. One list. Twenty-five names. Published once a year. Defended by independent judges and the industry's sharpest media voice.

Vision

The definitive annual list of people moving AI forward in pharma and life sciences — the one recognition the industry agrees matters.

Mission

Surface the 25 leaders whose AI work is creating measurable change across manufacturers, agencies, biotech and medtech — and tell their stories in a way that raises the bar for everyone else.

Principle

We're not awarding AI. We're naming the people who are using it to change how medicine gets made, marketed, and delivered.

Six categories. Twenty-five names. One standard.

Drug Discovery &
Clinical Development

Target ID, molecular design, trial optimisation, digital biomarkers, safety and efficacy prediction.

Commercial Strategy &

  1. 01

    Open Call

Nominations open publicly. Peers, managers, PR teams and self-nominations all welcome. A structured form captures nominee profile, initiative, outcomes, scale, and responsible-AI practice.

  2. 02

    Editorial Screening

Doceree's editorial team screens every submission for eligibility, evidence quality, and conflict transparency before anything reaches the panel.

  3. 03

    Independent Judging

A panel of 8 senior, independent judges — drawn from pharma, academia, consulting, medtech, regulatory, venture, and scientific publishing — scores shortlisted nominations against a five-pillar rubric.

  4. 04

    Deliberation

Judges convene to debate top-scoring candidates and ensure balance across categories, geographies and functions. The final 25 are formalised by Doceree's editorial leadership.

Five pillars. Evidence first.

Every nomination is scored against the same five-pillar rubric. The rubric is public. Claims must be backed by outcomes, publications, or deployed case studies.

01

Measurable impact

Quantified business or patient outcomes — speed-to-market, efficiency, HCP engagement lift, trial acceleration, access improvement.

02

Innovation depth

Originality and technical sophistication. Distinguishes genuine invention from off-the-shelf adoption.

03

Scale & reach

Breadth of deployment across brands, markets, and functions — plus the potential to scale further.

04

Leadership & advocacy

The individual's role in advancing the agenda internally and across the ecosystem: thought leadership, standards, mentorship.

05

Responsible AI

Commitment to ethics in practice: privacy, transparency, bias mitigation, regulatory rigour.

"The list is only as good as
the rules behind it."

Independent Panel

8 senior judges. None from competing vendors. None scoring their own network.

Published Methodology

The rubric, the process, and the conflict protocols are public.

No Pay-to-Win

Nominations are free. Sponsorship does not influence selection.

Editorial Independence

Doceree's editorial team operates separately from commercial. No client, partner, or sponsor influences the final list.
