Purpose of the Job

 

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Analysts to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting, enhancing and streamlining our financial operations, implementing best practices, and driving operational excellence. This role requires a deep understanding of financial processes, excellent analytical skills, and a strategic mindset.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Process Optimization: Evaluate and improve financial and operational processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Generate timely and accurate financial reports. Analyze financial data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and support strategic decisions.
  • Compliance and Controls: Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects focused on finance operations improvements, including the integration of new technologies and systems.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial operations with business objectives. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor and report variances with recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Technology Integration: Spearhead the adoption of new financial technologies that automate and enhance reporting, billing, and other key finance operations.
  • Training and Development: Train finance and non-finance staff on financial policies and systems to ensure company-wide compliance and understanding.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of critical business requirements
  • Developing innovative solutions for operational and strategic changes
  • Understanding business needs and optimizing business operations accordingly
  • Understanding the financial statements, KPIs and other key metrics, and then evaluating options for improvement.

Qualifications Requirement: Experience, Skills & Education

  • A competent finance professional, preferably a chartered accountant or MBA Finance or CFA (experience of working in the Big 4 firms is a plus)
  • 2-4 years of post-qualification experience
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices
  • Business Pivotal Thinking
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial software
  • Advanced knowledge of excel with an analytical mindset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with senior-level management Adaptive to change and capable of handling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
