Marketing Project Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Project Manager to join our global marketing team. The Marketing Project Manager will play a crucial role in managing marketing operations, ensuring the successful execution of cross-functional projects, and maintaining efficient project workflows. This individual will collaborate with various teams within marketing and stakeholders to ensure project schedules, resources, and creative deliverables are on track, deadlines are met, and vendors are effectively engaged.
Reports To: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
- Lead and manage cross-functional marketing projects from inception to completion.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones, and ensure their adherence.
- Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report project progress to the CMO and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Marketing department heads to allocate resources for projects.
- Ensure team members have clear roles and responsibilities.
- Maintain an efficient resource allocation process.
- Select and manage vendors, agencies, and freelancers as needed.
- Partner with marketing lead to negotiate contracts and agreements.
- Ensure vendors meet project requirements and deliverables.
- Oversee vendor payment and manage related budget.
Creative Briefs and Asset Management:
- Work closely with the marketing lead to develop accurate and comprehensive creative briefs.
- Oversee the trafficking of creative assets, ensuring they are delivered on time.
- Maintain organized file management systems.
- Perform quality checks to ensure that all marketing materials meet brand standards and guidelines.
- Conduct reviews of deliverables to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business
3+ years of proven experience in project management role at a creative/media agency
Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Knowledge of marketing strategies, creative processes, and digital marketing trends.
Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
Experience in marketing for events, product marketing, digital marketing initiatives
Familiarity with marketing automation and collaboration tools.
Candidates from NJ, Parsippany (must be in the office 2x week)
