Following implementation, the role will oversee day-to-day U.S. HRIS operations, data integrity, workforce reporting, and continuous process improvement. This is an individual contributor role suited to someone who combines technical HRIS expertise with strong operational execution, independent judgment, and a practical, solutions-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate U.S. Workday implementation activities, managing project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks.

  • Gather business requirements, document HR workflows, and collaborate with implementation partners on system configuration and integrations.

  • Lead functional testing, data validation, user acceptance testing, and issue resolution.

  • Develop process documentation, training materials, and employee and manager readiness resources.

Employee Data Management & Reporting

  • Audit, clean, standardize, and reconcile employee data to support accurate Workday migration.

  • Establish consistent organizational data structures, including job titles, departments, reporting relationships, and employee records.

  • Maintain data integrity through ongoing quality checks and issue resolution.

  • Develop and maintain workforce reporting and dashboards to support HR and business decisions.

HR Operations & Systems Optimization

  • Document and improve employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employee changes, leave, performance management, and offboarding.

  • Manage day-to-day U.S. HRIS support, troubleshooting, system updates, and enhancement requests following implementation.

  • Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors to improve workflows, system adoption, and operational efficiency.

HR Compliance & Controls

  • Support consistent execution of U.S. HR policies, procedures, and operational controls across systems and manual processes.

  • Maintain compliance tracking, documentation, employee records, and audit readiness in partnership with HR leadership and Legal.

  • Monitor payroll, benefits, and leave-related data processes, resolving discrepancies and escalating risks as needed.

  • Identify compliance and process gaps, recommend improvements, and track corrective actions through completion.

Qualifications - Experience, Skills & Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • 7+ years of experience in HR operations, HRIS, or HR technology implementations, ideally within a high-growth or global organization.

  • 3+ years of hands-on HRIS implementation or deployment experience, including direct ownership of functional deliverables, data migration, workflow development, testing, or issue resolution. Experience specifically with Workday strongly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of HR processes, employee data management, system integrations, reporting, and security, with exposure to Workday Core HCM configuration or administration.

  • Proven experience in employee data cleansing, mapping, validation, and reconciliation, with strong Excel and analytical skills.

  • Experience documenting business requirements, HR processes, operational procedures, and testing scenarios.

  • Strong project management skills, including milestone tracking, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Working knowledge of U.S. HR operations, multistate employment practices, payroll, benefits, and leave administration.

  • Experience supporting HRIS operations post-implementation, including system enhancements, user support, data-quality reviews, and process improvement.

  • Experience collaborating with global HR teams, implementation consultants, technology vendors, Finance, and IT.

  • Relevant Workday training, HR certifications, or project management credentials are a plus.
